i am really upset today cos my flight change is unsuccessful...
after hunting for ppl endlessly to change flight with me, finally one kind soul agreed.
it was rather last min, and i had to go to the office personally after today's flight just to get it done...
but it got rejected!!!

i am just fated to go for that flight i guess...
hope all goes well and that meiting will get called up for that flight..
haha.. i'm so evil...

anyhow, enough of my ranting...
this post will finally mark the end of my hong kong trip...

we crossed over to macau on our second last day of the trip....

normal pheasants like us take the boat...

the super rich ones take the helicopter...
tong ren bu tong ming...

helicopter takes 10 mins from hk to macau
while the sane route via the boat is 1 hr...

when we reached macau ferry terminal, i never felt more lost then before...
though we did research on macau, where to go and stuff, transport was super ex...
hence, we joined a tour instead...

i think the one day tour only costs 150 MOP per pax..
about 30 odd SGD...

i think the last time i sat in a tour bus was my trip with my family to korea like 5 years back i think...

first stop was at the macau tower..

went up to the viewing tower...
some ppl were doing bungee, some were sky walking...

i wanted to try the sky walk...
but it was rather ex, and time did not permit...

bf loves this phrase..
why live on the edge when u can jump off...

mini macau tower...

after wow-ing over at the macau tower, we went to this ah ma temple...
yes.. even in macau, we can also visit temple...

next we went to this Praia avenue where the last 3 Portuguese styled houses are at...

green coloured walls...
it is a huge house...
so huge that i think i will never be able to afford even if i worked like a cow til i die...

the houses are now mini museums

bf gg upstairs...
i don't know what was up there as i was too lazy to climb up the stairs....

the stupid dustbin spoiled the pic...
-__-""

after the houses, the tour guide brought us to buy food!!!
my fav part...

i think there are other shops...
but this shop is one of the more popular ones...

they make the biscuits on the spot for you to try...
so yummy... good sales tactic...

Portuguese Egg Tart!!!
the only type of egg tart i eat...

the ones there are just heavenly...
just look at bf's expression...
hee hee...
i made him do that by the way...
he doesn't mind looking silly just to make me smile =)

after much food, we went on to the golden lotus...

the green one is macau's flag....
so cute with the lotus in the middle...

macau's national flower is the lotus..
learnt smth new...

after which we went to this place which used to be the fortress that protects macau from its enemies...

many canons, now they are positioned, all aiming the big casinos..
haha...

btw, the lady in pink is our tour guide...
its a pity we did not take a proper picture with her...

walked over to St Pauls Ruins...
an old church which was destroyed by fire, only leaving this wall left...

so nice ehh...
the picture could have been perfect if it were not for the many many ppl at the back...

further down was this ne zha temple..
it was said that this temple protects the kids...

after walking and walking...
bf got hungry and went to get this pork bun...
thank god ching wasn't there....

walking down the street, back to the bus...

a final pic with the ppl in our tour group...
all from diff countries...
vietnam, india, malaysia, singapore and usa..

the tour bus brought us back the the ferry terminal where the few of us took a shuttle bus to visit one of the casinos...

venetian...

the venetian...
really nice inside...
but too bad pictures are not allowed in the casino...

alighted at the hotel's west lobby...
bf and i played for a while and lost some $$$...
if we had won, we would have booked the helicopter back....

the next day, we woke up later than usual, went to the supermarket to get some cup noodles, checked out and went for some last min sight seeing...

noon day gun...

this is the place whereby they would fire canons at noon everyday...

the blue canons...

but it was a pity that when we got there, the firing was over and they had closed the gate..
poor bf...

hence we made our way back to the hotel, and off we go to the airport...

bidding hk good bye...

at the airport...
we went there with 2 bags and came back with 4 bags...
mostly food....

old school plane made of wood...
would anyone dare sit on this plane??

checked in...

and waited for our boarding time...
OMG... look at those eye bags...
the diff between got make up and no make up....
hahhaa....

only one pic in the plane as it was too dark and turbulence made all the pics so blur...
yet having the flash on would disturb other pax..

anyway, all in all, i will go back to hk one day...
the day when i have earned enough money to go on a branded spree...
cos hk is tax free, and it has many outlet shops...

for now, i shall look forward to my bkk trip with dear tata in dec...
cant wait cant wait...

bf: redang next march?
gek: aus next may?

i have another leave in feb...
still thinking what i should do.....

shall go dream for some inspiration..
good night....

heh, i didn't keep my promise of blogging before i went to bintan because i woke up late for my overnight flight, and loading of the pictures was as usual such a chore...
blame it on the DSLR...
i have this love hate feeling for it...

since we booked the room without breakfast, we got ready early and head out for the day.
breakfast was at hai huang zhou dian...

super yummy i tell you!!!

we ended up going back there for breakfast for the remaining days...

sooOOo yummy you tiao...
better than rochor....
(precious will LOVE it)

i love having porridge for breakfast...
i don't know why...

chee chiong fan
just the way i like it...
the sauce = shiok

my stoned morning face...

bf enjoyed the breakfast as much as i did...

after breakfast we started on our mission...

DISNEYLAND!!!!

took the MTR to Sunny Bay MTR before going on this Mickey themed train to the fantasyland...

i love the air condition in the train..
cos it was a darn scotching day, and the train saved me from melting...

i'm no longer that fair anymore...
i'm 1/4 of a bangla now after bintan =(

all these disney characters brings back many childhood memories...

at the entrance, walking in...

it's damn hot la...
i cant open my eyes without sunnies...

i love this phrase...
' here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy'

DUMBO...
i used to like dumbo alot when i was little...
i even had this dumbo set of plates and cups..

how i wish i could really drive this truck...
i am a very lazy girl...
i complained one million times about having to walk around at disney though it wasn't really big...

maybe its just the sun...
too hot too sticky. i hate that feeling...

at the gift shop, i made bf take many random pics cos i wanted to stay in an air conditioned place longer...

mousey bf...

when i finally decided to walk out, i saw high school musical...
but everything was in canto...
weird.... but well, its HK remember???

i spent like 60HKD on these coins in total on different machines...
1 coin is 10HKD

5HKD is approx 1SGD

our first stop, Adventureland...

we took this boat ride that was pretty interesting with the story telling and effects...

playing with these drums..
however i can drum for nuts...

bf trying to make some music too...
failed terrible as well...

after adventureland, we went on to fantasyland...

dumbo again....

the flying elephant!!!

we went for this winnie the pooh ride...

as well as the spinning tea cups ride...

then we walk on to this small world...

took a ride there and it literally made me fall asleep with its song..
its a small world after all... x3
its a small small world ~

zzzzzzzzzzzzz..........

after that we finally reached tomorrowland..

that's where the excitement begins...

space traders...
roller coaster in pitch darkness..

look at our scared faces...
hahaha... my type of ride...

bf loves tomorrowland...

astronaut...

simply thats all the lands there are in HK disneyland...
super small...

we went back to the central and waited for the disney parade...

so damn hot i tell you...
bf ended up with a really bad sunburn after that day...

some pics taken...
pretty much like sg's chingay...
expect its disney themed...

snow white and the 7 dwarfs...
i only managed to capture 5 of the dwarfs...

there were many more pics for the disney parade..
but i'm too lazy la...

bf and i
<3

bf's part time job there...
united parcel service

took a pic with pluto

mickey and minnie...

developed the pics for mickey and minnie...

look at the rays of the sun...
really really damn hot....
(ok, i know i have said its really damn hot for the 100th time... but its really hot la...)

we left disneyland for the day, planning to come back at night for the fireworks...

took the MTR back..

stopped by at citygate for some shopping...
i love those outlet shops in HK...

this was where i got glenn an orange shirt to match his orange pants..
hahhaha....

visited po lin monastry..

too bad the cable car was unavailable as it was going thru some upgrading process...
hence we booked a cab to bring us up and back...

don't know y bf wanted to take this pic for....
he should have taken a pic with a pig instead of a monkey..
hahhahaha....

the big buddha..

it was such a pity that when we got there, the temple was already closed..
but looking on the bright side, at least i did not have to climb that flight of steps...
OMG... guess how many thousand more times i would complain on my way up, besides being hot...

so we made do with these pics and made our way back down...

some goats spotted...
i wanted to go close and take a picture with them...
but i'm afraid they would attack me...

i took this picture, and i think its really nice...
agree??

just a few more pictures before we went back down...

back to disneyland for the fireworks...

looks totally different to me....

bf has learnt the skill of taking reflection pictures...

went back to temple street for dinner...

this time, it was at aberdeen seafood
'xiang gang zai'

sotong which tasted like the XXL chix in tawian...

vegetables...

and how can we forget the fish....

bf loves fish....

ended the day with shopping at the night market again, to get some souveniors...
i shall stop here and continue again soon i hope...

anyway, i'm thinking of clearing off my wardrobe...
selling all my unwanted clothes, mostly brand new or worn only 1-2 times, at nothing more than $20...

will anyone be interested??
