Happy birthday to the A* friend

23 years ago, this day, is a special day.
i do count my blessings for having you as part of my life.

one of the best travelling partner.

one of the best companion

always one of the few who goes all out to help me without expecting anything in return

as huge a gambler as me.

loves branded bags as much as i do, bringing me to a church on a saturday for branded shopping.
as well as helping me get every girl's dream bag.

always putting in extra effort.

telling me what does 'dance like a fridge' mean.

willing to eat street side food with me though you've got a lousy stomach.

always making me laugh

and you are one of the few people that i can totally be myself, and act silly with.
not being judged.

and not forgetting, selling me dear xiao bai =)
may you always be happy and find the perfect man.

with much love,
FATS

Day 7

-Boxing Day-

this was the most anticipating day of the whole trip.

(also the most disappointing day)

first, we were going to woodbury, and second, we were finally going to vegas...

the first time i actually had contact with real snow falling from the sky..

my first white christmas.

shopping was fantastic as usual!!!

2 brand whores in woodsbury...

lunch was at the usual italian restaurant.

yummy pasta with big mushrooms...

we wanted to continue to shop after lunch.

but the weather was getting quite bad, and it was getting a little crowded for our liking.

see, people cant even open their eyes properly...

and countless snow kept falling into my mouth...

while waiting for the bus to come...

we left the place at about 1pm as we had a flight to catch...

gek all prepared to go up the bus..

imagine all these buys in just 4 hours...

we are a true blue shopaholic...

at this point, the snow was getting a little on my nerves..

my typical irritated face..

hahhahahhaha...

goodbye woodsbury...

hello manhatten...

i vividly remember falling after i took this picture...

stupid snow...

walked back to the hotel and to our dismay, we found out that our flight was CANCELLED!!!

all my holidays had always been smooth.

it doesnt matter if taiwan was having typhoon or if bangkok were having riots.

i somehow have this little lady luck that helped me along the way..

no one can ever imagine how upset i was...

vegas was one of the highlights of the whole trip!!!

as we didnt have a hotel booking for the night, we shifted to another hotel nearby..

i thank god for insurance gek and i had.

the hotel was eventually fully claimable and we had a refund for our flight tickets.

i thank my lucky stars...

despite the blizzard, we went out to buy new boots..

geks shoes and my boots were too slippery for the snow..

for the first time in yearsm new york had a blizzard, and it had to happen during my trip there, on the day i was suppose to fly to vegas.

if we had flown earlier by a day, we would have been in vegas.

yet we will not be able to experience snow.

the most devastating news!!!

=((((((

changed plans and decided to head to boston 2 days earlier than planned.

layed out all our buys for the trip and this cheered me up a little...
