though its already like 10pm at night...
i still kept my promise of blogging on tuesday...
hee hee...
it was quite hard for bf and i to go on a holiday together since i started work..
he has his commitments, and i have mine.
not forgetting the swine flu...
after much thoughts and loads of planning and re planning, we finally went to hong kong on the 3rd of sept..
we took cathay pacific cos they had a really good promotion...
only to realise that it was the 15th day of the 7th month on the lunar calender after booking...
but we aint tt superstitious...
took many many pics during the 3.5 hr journey...
our meals....
i had the chix with potatoes while bf had the pork with rice...
bf's choice tasted better...
hence i tried to steal some..
look at his selfish face...
HUMPH!!!!
arrived at hong kong international airport and booked our ticket to shenzhen where we spent the first 3 days 2 nights at...
while waiting to board the boat to shenzhen, we roamed around the hk airport...
spent most of the time at the kids corner...
closer to the boarding time, we then took a bus to the quay...
3 pics while waiting to board the boat...
arrived at shen zhen 'she kou' ferry terminal after a while...
took a cab and head to our hotel right away...
if u happen to go to shenzhen, pls note the hotel's name or any other building's name in chinese...
cos the cabbies' there does not know the english translation of the various buildings.
so our hotel is knows as kuai jie du jia jiu dian.
(holiday inn express)
changed into more comfortable clothes and went out for dinner...

their ma la is damn spicy....

after eating so much, we walked to dong men for shopping, as well as to digest a little...
dong men bu xing jie....
everything is dirt cheap there...
look at how the clothes are being sold...
4.7RMB = 1SGD
so do the math and u know how cheap things are....
i did not buy anything that night cos i was all tired after almost a whole day of travelling...
however, bf had a haircut and i had a hair wash by professionals (at least 5 years experience), at only 45RMB...
if i happen to have to stay in china one day, i shall never wash my own hair again...
hahahhahahha....
DAY 2 at shenzhen...
we woke up, had breakfast, and i emailed gek, planning how to meet when i get to hong kong...
after which we went back to the room and got ready for the day...

rented this scooter thingy cos lazy me didn't wanna walk...
hee hee...
every country had their icon..
and yes... singapore's merlion is part of it too..

hence i demanded for an ice-cream...
and bf went to get me the ice cream...

i spotted a real camel....
so cute yet disgusting will so many flies around it...
i bet it stinks big time....
can u recognise some of the icons and relate it to the country so far???
bought a souvenior with all the explanations and pics of the various icons..
bf and i will oneday visit those places and cross them out in the book one by one...
bf loves electronics...
all the countries we have visited together, bf will definately plan a trip to those IT malls...
we visited a total of 2 malls together...
one of the rare times where i will accompany him to those malls...
the terrible heat and crowd there...
