LAST PART - BALI
to think i actually took like 2-3 months to blog...
hahaha...
anyway, it will be quite some time before blog about any holidays...
simply because, i don't get as many off days as i do whilst flying..
alright, before i get carried away ranting, back to bali...
on our way to the airport...
as usual, cheapo me choose to take batavia..
i always feel that for short journeys, any airline will do.
as long as its cheap...
and sure is batavia cheap..
i think two oneway tix cost bout 100+ bucks...
but one thing bout being a cheapo, your flights always gets delayed...
and even when i'm in indonesia, indians just like following me as well!

while waiting for the plane, bf bought a cream puff frm beard papa...
selfish him only bought 1..
and we had to fight over it...
as mentioned previously, we agreed upon taking turns to get the window seat.
so this time it was my turn..
but hack... this stupid place we got, which is just a row in front of the emergency exit, doesn't have any windows!!!!
yes, remind me that i was being a cheapo!!!
so don't complain...

haggled for a cheap cab ride to our resort..
i should be very thankful that bf can speak malay...
we get better prices for cab rides and stuff...
our hotel...
a very very big room i must say..
but the thing is tt it doesn't have a lift..
and guess what, we live on the 4th storey...
had a quick bath before heading out..
the resort we stayed at.
green garden spa resort..
just opposite holiday inn...
the beach was just a short walk away...

when the sun set, we walked out to find food!!!
after quite a distance, we stopped at mini seafood..
i think i was attracted to the long list of food they had...
hungry man...
the food was not bad though i had higher expectations since it was bali..
but bf loved it...
he is easily satisfied...
which is a good thing though....
i was so lazy to walk back after food.
and we wanted to go to this shopping mall..
but it was still quite a distance.
after much bugging, bf relented and we rented a car.......
only to find out tt its manual!!!
my manual ride...
dammit...
thank god i have a manual driving license!!!
and, i must say, through out the 3 days 2 nights driving, i did not stall!!
NOT ONCE!!!
my driving instructor would be very proud of me...

at night, we went out for a spin...
partially, to let me practice more driving that manual car...
went to this very happening area...
and after which, we lost our way...
we turned many rounds, only bringing us back to the same area.
turned a different direction only to get stuck in some small alley and had to reverse out.
poor car suffered alot that night...
but we were lucky enough to meet this v nice guy who help us out of the alley and we managed to find our way back..
the next morning, after breakfast, first stop was shopping...
discovery shopping mall...
forget about those roadside stalls...
this mall has everything they sell, and its cheaper...
you don't even have to bargain like aunties!!!
i vividly remember how hot it was that day!!!

bf went out to take some pictures and he came back 30 mins later with a sunburn..
poor boy...

went to the beach again after some shopping...
look at how near was our hotel was to the airport..
it was seriously too hot for me to stay any longer at the beach...
so we went back to the resort for swimming...
and bf bullied me to take the towels...
look at my 3 pimples on my forehead...
like traffic light...
silly bf allowed me to put flowers on his ear...
so pretty....
and soon, he became mad..

for dinner, we drove to jimbaran...
seafood by the beach...
i can still spot tt ugly traffic light pimple!!!
blame it on the water...
i really appreciate sg's water after this trip...
how nice if singapore has a place like this...
i would have dinner there watching the sunset every other night!!!
but, we only have east coast...

jimbaran beach club seafood restaurant was the place we had dinner at...
drove back to the kuta area...
and had a very very cheap thai foot massage before we went to bed...
the next morning, we had breakfast and then, we went to the beach one last time before flying back to sg..
we remembered to take pics of the breakfast....
haha..
off to the beach....
i only drew the heart shape..
bf wrote the rest..
haha...
kuta bali...
perhaps, the next time i visit bali, i would, and i will, and i must stay at jimbaran...
bf loves the sun and sea...
its a pity that i don't..
but being together, there always has to be a balance..
give and take...
so next stop will be a shopping destination ok??
soon, it was time to check out...
we had a quick bath and packed all our stuff...
since we still had time, we drove out again...
not to discovery mall again, but to DFS...
bf in the drivers' seat...
i guess if you have a motobike licence, you should rent a bike instead...
it much easier to get around, and parking will not be a hassle....
and its freaking cheap!!!
in bali, there are many weird statues like this...
at DFS...
nth to buy cos it's totally out of budget.
and for the same stuff, i can get it at discovery mall at a better price...
so back we go to discovery mall...
for food...
final meal before getting our asses back in sg...
bf had the western cos i wanted fries, while i had the ayam penyat...
indonesia chilli = shiok...
at the airport...
look at how many arrivals and departures are there for such a small airport..
air asia brought us back home...
good bye bali...
and the sunset was perfect that day...
no huge cloud...
